Level 3 Learning Objectives

  1. Identifying the types of adaptability necessary to maximize the organization’s performance in its unique context.

  2. Overcoming multiple pitfalls in creating a bespoke organizational design optimized for different kinds of adaptability alongside other context-specific optimization goals.

  3. Effectively and efficiently navigating the organizational ecosystem throughout its evolution toward high adaptability while avoiding common traps.

Level 3 Curriculum

MODULE 1 (4h)

    • Understand different types of adaptiveness

    • Be able to identify whether they might be beneficial in any given organizational context

    • Be able to define relevant progress indicators for adaptiveness-based optimization goals

MODULE 2 (4h)

    • Understand flow efficiency and resource efficiency in the context of any organizational level, from one team to the entire company.

    • Understand the challenge of simultaneously improving both.

    • Be able to develop a practical approach to overcome this challenge.

MODULE 3 (4h)

  • Be able to redesign  organizational structures and processes while optimizing for high adaptability, including:

    • True Products and Portfolios

    • Product Units, Value Areas, Teams

    • Authority and responsibility

    • Manager-led and self-managed units

    • Work prioritization, distribution

    • Risk monitoring and controlling

    • Strategy of Tackling Dependencies

MODULE 4 (4h)

  • Be able to redesign various management functions as well as HR policies and processes for high adaptability, including:

    • Line management function

    • Product management function

    • Performance evaluation

    • Professional and career development

    • Hiring and salary management

    • Non-financial rewarding

MODULE 5 (4h)

  • Understand the specifics of scope definition, optimization goal setting, preparation for change, post-change support, monitoring, and validation when optimizing for adaptability

MODULE OF PRACTICE (4h)

  • Although all preceding modules allocate 50% of the time to short practical tasks corresponding to particular topics, this module is fully devoted to hands-on experience in applying the learning from the entire program level.

The first five modules provide a gradual learning experience with 50/50 of theory and practice. The material of every subsequent module is based on your learning from the previous ones.

This certificate is not guaranteed! It is awarded only upon the successful completion of all steps in the theoretical and practical examination when you choose the optional Skill Validation service.

While mentorship sessions are included to support candidates, they may not be sufficient on their own, as your actual practice with real-life cases is the most critical factor.

Possession of the current level’s Graduate Certificate and the previous level’s Professional Certificate is a prerequisite.
